Son del Mundo: A global celebration of International Cuban Son Day and the release of Cortadito's new album, The Guajiro Triangle. Cuban Son, a genre considered the foundation of many Latin music styles like Salsa and Merengue, is celebrated for its infectious rhythms and rich melodies. This special event will feature Cortadito alongside esteemed guest artists Albita Rodriguez, Lazaro Galarraga, Nestor Torres, Michelle Fragoso, Miamibloco, and more, performing live tributes to the pioneers of Cuban Son, Miguel Matamoros, Arsenio Rodriguez, and the Buena Vista Social Club, and showcasing selections from Cortadito's new record. Audiences will also be immersed in the rich tapestry of Cuban Son, with DJ Le Spam spinning selections from different eras of this treasured musical genre.
