Vezner began working as a songwriter in Minnesota and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Pat Alger is a country music songwriter, singer and guitarist and a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Kathleen Alice Mattea is an American country music and bluegrass singer. Amy Speace is a Nashville-based folk/Americana American singer-songwriter and essayist from Baltimore, Maryland. National Public Radio described her voice as "velvety and achy" and compared her to Lucinda Williams. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
