The infamous DJ Krush comes to OAF for a night of down beat Hip Hop and electronica that is second to none.DJ KRUSH began his journey in the early 1980s after being inspired by the film Wild Style. In the late ’80s, he formed B-FRESH3 and later KRUSH POSSE with MURO and DJ GO, becoming one of Japan’s most prominent hip-hop acts before disbanding in 1992. He then pursued a solo career focused on expressing hip-hop through DJing alone. His early albums KRUSH and Strictly Turntablized (1994), released in Japan and through the UK label Mo’ Wax, brought him international recognition, especially in Europe. Subsequent releases, including Meiso, MiLight, Kakusei, and the collaborative album Ki-Oku with Toshinori Kondo, established him as a key figure in global trip-hop and abstract hip-hop.From the late 1990s onward, DJ KRUSH expanded his influence through acclaimed albums, live performances, and cross-genre collaborations.
