Refracting the realities of late-capitalist city life and the impossibility of work-art balance in a high-rent metropolis through satire and sarcasm, Toronto’s Kiwi Jr. has shaped their own deadpan postmodern indie rock. Their third album, Chopper, overseen by producer Dan Boeckner was released on Sub Pop Records in 2022. They have toured in 13 countries and opened for bands like Pavement, The Walkmen, Dinosaur Jr, Guided By Voices, and others. They are currently at work on their fourth album. 2nd Grade is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2018 as a musical project for Peter Gill, the group now includes Catherine Dwyer, David Settle, and Francis Lyons. The group has released three full-length albums.
