ABOUT THE KARAS COMMITTEE The Karas Committee is an exciting music collective led by up-and-coming keyboardist Josh Karas. The group performs high-energy jazz/funk fusion similar to artists like Snarky Puppy, Weather Report, and Lettuce. They have performed to sold-out audiences at venues such as Rudy’s Jazz Room, The 5 Spot, and Wilburn Street Tavern. Karas is currently working on his second studio album which captures the Karas Committee’s infectious chemistry and Karas’ dynamic compositions. For this show, Karas will be joined by Madison George on drums, Leland Nelson on bass, Jon Rogerson on guitar, Zach Douglas on trumpet, and Natasha Blaine on vocals.
