Her compositions span solo, chamber ensemble, and acousmatic formats, incorporating a wide range of both acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Similarly informed by minimalist and longform structures, early music concepts of intervallic relation and affect, as well as experimental production practices of the studio environment, in her sound is an intimate and patient experience that reconfigures perceptions of the familiar and the distant. \--- Praised for their collaborative approach and ‘promoting international repertoire UK audiences ought to hear’ (Caroline Potter, I Care If You Listen) Standard Issue is a London-based new music collective dedicated to creating inclusive spaces to hear, see, and take part in new and experimental music. They have collaborated with groups such as Ensemble Modern, Her Ensemble, Dig That Treasure!, Musarc Choir, and Sound and Music, and commissioned works by Mathis Saunier, Anna Disley-Simpson, Ollie Hawker, Tam Lines, Imogen Davey, Rob Hao, and Yue Song. \--- Co-presented by MUTEK with the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
