Since erupting from Sheffield’s underground in 2016, FEMUR have carved out a reputation as one of the UK’s most visceral and unpredictable live acts. Their sound – a “bewildering, hook-filled psych-grunge onslaught” (Exposed Magazine, 2023) – fuses feral energy with psychedelic chaos, pulling listeners into their volatile world. Early releases Spook (2017) and the In Your Belly EP (2018) set the tone: raw, primal, and impossible to ignore, quickly earning them support slots with The Wytches and YAK and cementing their name across the UK’s alternative scene. By 2020, FEMUR were fully off the leash.
