Headphones Girl and CYCLO BONETTE live at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Brooklyn on Sun, Oct 25, 10:00 PM. Free entry. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
Three female DJs with deep collections and a shared love for psychedelic acid sounds come together to create a space so pure it purifies those within it… Scotia almost needs no introduction, as she has seen a meteoric rise in popularity with her “transsexual acid” sound, and is on her way to becoming a mainstay of the queer rave circuit. Headphones Girl is purveyor of psychedelic, funky, and cosmic dance music. She’s known for her diverse and tasteful vinyl selections, playing a wide range of sounds throughout her sets with a focus on groove, bass and classic psychedelia. Cyclo Bonette makes and mixes joyful, progressive and acid house music filled with color and emotion. Her sound is bright and euphoric. She brings a bubbly, ecstatic energy to the booth as well as the dancefloor.
