With his longtime quartet, Stranger Days, O’Farrill has released the critically-acclaimed albums Hueso, Stranger Days, El Maquech, and Visions of Your Other, finding inspiration in everyone from Miles Davis, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Thom Yorke to Alice Munro, Rene Magritte, and Paul Thomas Anderson. On this most recent album, For These Streets, Adam expanded his sonic landscape to an octet, channeling the art and culture of the 1930s through a contemporary creative viewpoint.
