Buffering A Rewatch Adventure presents BUFFY PROM 2024 — live event

Buffering: A Rewatch Adventure is bringing BUFFY PROM back to NYC for the first time since 2019, live from Brooklyn's Bell House on Saturday, April 20th! Dance the night away to your favorite 90s music with fellow Buffy fans while decked out in your prom best (or your best Buffy cosplay!), listen to live music from Buffering's own Jenny Owen Youngs, and have a nostalgic, vampyric, rollicking good time — guaranteed to be Hellhound-free. This year, for the very first time, our BUFFY PROM festivities will span the entire weekend! VIP Ticket Holders will get admission to all three events spanning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Join us for BUFFY TRIVIA on Friday, April 19th at Talea, a Brooklyn-based brewery where we will find some Black Frost on tap and attempt to outsmart each other in Buffy knowledge before ultimately devolving into a caveman state of mind. If things go according to plan, the evening will end with our first annual "Hit Parker on the Head with a Big Stick" ceremony. After promming the night away on Saturday, April 20th, come hang out with us once more at The Bell House on Sunday, April 21st for an afternoon BUFFY WATCH, where we will commence a screening of two of our most beloved episodes of Buffy! Ticket-holders will vote on a list of fan-favorites to decide which two episodes we will screen together. Popcorn will be popped, prom moments from the night before will be rehashed, Jenny & Kristin will undoubtedly get their hands on a mic or two a la MST3K, and pajamas are strongly encouraged (bonus points for sushi prints).
