No stranger to the Lunatico bandstand, Blanton has forged a vast and eclectic body of work over the past decade both as a composer and arranger. He dips into a wide array of musical genres, feeling equally at home digging into funk, Brazilian, electronic, and modern jazz situations. Urban Achievers consists of hot shot guitarist Al Street, the ever groovin' Eric Finland on Hammond B3, and drum dynamo Josh Dion.
