Rebecka Edlund Trio ft Laura Jurd & Ruth Goller Swedish pianist Rebecka Edlund brings her trio to the intimate Vortex stage for an evening of contemporary jazz featuring saxophonist Laura Jurd and bassist Ruth Goller. This is a meeting of three distinct voices—Edlund's lyrical touch, Jurd's restless saxophone energy, and Goller's grounded, inventive bass work combine to create something genuinely unpredictable. Expect music that moves between composed arrangements and open exploration, drawing on Nordic sensibility and London's thriving improvisation scene. Two hours to discover why these three musicians are among the most compelling players working today.
