DJ girlcrush returns to Jupiter Disco for another happy hour session, this time bringing along a summer’s worth of new discoveries. After digging through record shops and dancefloors from Paris to New Hampshire, and taking plenty of inspiration from a weekend at Honcho, she’s got a fresh stack of sounds ready to put to work. Expect an extended early-evening journey through acid-soaked house, chugging rhythms, euphoric trance, and driving techno, with plenty of strange little discoveries along the way. DJ girlcrush’s sets draw from the deep, the psychedelic, and the unabashedly danceable, moving patiently between styles while keeping one foot firmly on the dancefloor. For this session, the mood is somewhere between a summer road trip, a particularly good record store find, and the moment when happy hour starts turning into a proper night out.
