Zuvembies is a genre-defying band from NYC that blends influences from funk, jazz, rock, hip hop, disco & many more. Led by songwriter and guitarist Tommy Shelton, combined with drums from Evan Pragliola & bass from Will Bart (frontman from ) this group often experiments with suite-like compositions that take listeners on a journey through the depths ever changing time signatures & fire grooves that will make you wanna smooch your baby. A live zuvembies show will almost always include guest appearances from some of New York's finest musicians, with setlists interweaving between original music & re-imaginations of classic songs. Their debut album is set to release in early 2024, with a second record following later on in 2024.
