Allie Dunn with special guests Kelsey Blackstone and Felicity Retro-pop singer/songwriter Allie Dunn returns back to NYC where she grew up to embark on a new era in her musical journey where she combines nostalgic sounds with modern tones to redefine the definition of "pop." Kelsey Blackstone is a pop-soul and retro-rock musician based in Nashville, TN. She moved from Boston, MA in early 2024 after graduating from the Berklee College of Music. Kelsey has received honors from the New England Music Awards, Berklee, and the United Nations for her music. A fixture of the independent pop-soul and rock scene, she’s performed for sold-out crowds at: NYC’s Mercury Lounge (opening for Lloyiso), the Harry’s Happening Festival in Maine, Sofar Sounds, Deep Dive in Ithaca, PhilaMOCA, University of Rhode Island, Boston’s legendary Club Passim, Skidmore College and more. She’s had features on the Hartford Courant, WERS, Allston Pudding, WRBB, and the Boston Hassle, to name a few. Kelsey has also retained a placement on Spotify’s Retro Soul editorial playlist for her song, ‘When I’m With You’, released in March of 2023. A girl with an Aussie accent in a country town writing pop songs. I was born in Perth but by way of South Africa, New York, and a few ups and downs I’ve found my footing in Nashville, Tennessee. Having moved around my whole life I’ve always had a bit of black sheep syndrome and being in Nashville doing pop music I thought I’d feel no different. Instead, here I found myself in a herd of black sheep and able to create freely and truly for the first time. With a creative community built by my friends, we wrote some of my favorite and most honest songs yet.
