Beezer: In Conversation + Signing — live event
Rough Trade Bristol is very excited to present an in conversation event from Beezer with Paul McGann ( With Nail and I, the Monicled Mutineer) and Annie McGann hosted by Pete Webb (PC Press), a DJ Set from DJ Tessa Pollitt (from The Slits) and a book signing from Beezer. This unique event celebrates the release of his new book 'Until Now' released via PC Press. 'Beezer' is the legendary Bristol based photographer who documented the rise of Bristol's explosive music scene, club nights, street art and prominent musical, countercultural and political forces of the 1980s. Beezer captured the social and cultural dynamism of Bristol through his images of political protests and the city itself with community and celebrated music and club scene in its core. After the 1980s he moved to London then Tokyo where he has lived and worked 'Until Now' as he comes back to the UK to promote this new set of books.' Tickets for this event also include a physical copy of the fantastic book to be collected
