Mx Sunday is part of a nonstop weekend-long Pride festival taking place across the indoor and outdoor Nowadays spaces from Saturday, June 27 through Sunday, June 28 in coordination with Body Hack. Our event will fundraise for GLITS, an organization founded by Ceyenne Doroshow that provides immediate crisis support, healthcare access, and stable housing for transgender and sex worker communities in New York City. For this edition of the party, we present our second musical takeover of the season, with DJ Delish and Byrell The Great in the DJ booth. DJ Delish's music will be familiar to anyone who's spent any regular time on the Mister Sunday dance floor, an ace producer and DJ from Philly, DJ Delish lives at the epicenter of East Coast club culture, having cut her teeth on the ballroom circuit. Byrell The Great is a Harlem-born DJ and producer whose name is woven deeply into New York’s ballroom scene. A longtime force behind the booth and in the studio, Byrell brings the pressure of vogue house, ballroom pop and club edits into a sound that feels both rooted and future-facing, with productions and mixes that have helped bring ballroom’s sound into the current moment. /// Welcome to Mister Sunday. Whether you've been at it with us since day one or you're new to the party, we look forward to seeing you here. All we ask is that you put away your phone and dance while you're on the dance floor. There's plenty of space in the sun and the shade otherwise for a chat and a hang, and we'll have excellent Mexican food for you throughout the party, a wide variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks at the bar and water throughout the space, always free and easy to access. We stop taking RSVPs an hour before the party starts. In order to receive the RSVP discount, you must be at the ticket desk by the cutoff time and not just in line. It's wise to arrive early to make sure you're not standing in line when the time comes. An RSVP does not guarantee entry.
