SUM SUN represents the union of two accomplished creators, Nick Benton and Ilan Pomerance, who strike a sweet spot between organic instrumentation, cinematic production, and shimmering hooks. After generating over 1 million cumulative streams and earning early acclaim from the likes of Travis Mills and more, the pair has cultivated fans around the globe with their personal songwriting and genre-blurring artistry. At just 17, New Jersey-born Benton co-wrote and produced tracks for Billboard-charting reggae acts, earning a Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top Reggae Songs chart. He also lent his voice and songwriting to dance artists on Ultra Records. Around the same time, Pomerance co-wrote and produced tracks for the likes of Sony Music Entertainment, among others.
