An Alumni of the Interlochen Arts Academy, NPR’s “From the Top”, Vail Jazz Workshop,  Manhattan School of Music Pre-College and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where he studied extensively with Andrew Cyrille, Buster Williams, Reggie Workman and Hal Galper. Solomon appears regularly as both a bandleader and side man in New York and internationally including performances with musicians such as Hal Galper, Dayna Stephens, Emmanuel Michael, Kalia Vandever, Jacob Sacks, Adam O’Farrill, Tim Watson, Eric McPherson, Caleb Michel, Eliza Salem, Connor Parks, Neta Raanan, Yotam Silberstein, Alon Benjamini, Daniel Prim, Gabriel Chackarji and Joe Block. Solomon is the Co-Founder and artistic director/curator of “Close Up” the newest addition to the New York City jazz club pantheon.   This event is All Ages Seating is first-come, first-served; the last 10 spots in the room are standing room.
