Liquid Earth brings squelching analog grooves, sun-drenched psychedelia, and tightly wound low-end pressure shaped through the lineage of West Coast house and UK tech house alike. Through releases on Limousine Dream, TerraFirm, and collaborations with Tornado Wallace, the project has become known for slippery, funk-loaded productions and deeply dynamic sets that stretch from tripped-out minimalism into full dancefloor propulsion. Ryan Crosson arrives with decades of forward-thinking club experimentation behind him. A core figure of Detroit’s modern underground and co-founder of Visionquest, Crosson’s sound folds together stripped-back techno, abstract sampling, funk mutations, and hypnotic groove with unmistakable fluidity. His sets remain deeply physical while constantly pushing outward into stranger territory. NYC favorite COTTON channels renegade energy through acid-laced deep cuts, minimal-adjacent rollers, and oddball old-school techno selections. As founder of Spell and a resident of Waking Life, her vinyl-driven approach balances tension, playfulness, and unpredictability with total control. Matas has quietly become one of the most dependable names in New York’s underground ecosystem. Equally informed by years in record shops, DIY spaces, and behind the sound booth at Nowadays, his sets move through progressive grooves, driving techno, and late-night psychedelia with understated precision and dancefloor intuition.
