**villagerrr:** Nothing's as scary or sweet in this world than opening yourself up to a genuine connection with another person. Carousel, the fifth album Mark Scott has released as villagerrr, spills over with these wholehearted leaps of faith. His big, midwestern songs smolder with a desire to find enduring meaning in an era rife with commodification, surveillance, and general instability. **Dari Bay:** Dari Bay has already been many things. Since first launching the band, Zachary James and his friends have used Dari Bay to explore free-for-all experimentation, shape-shifting from project to project before slowly cohering into a vehicle for James’ most direct and personal songwriting. **Storey Littleton** is a songwriter from Woodstock NY. She grew up on the road with a family band (Ida), singing and playing the recorder in libraries and dive bars across America. Here are some of her favorite things: thunderstorms, hotel breakfast and being in a car while someone she's in love with is driving.
