Eleni Arapoglou - voice Corey Sanchez - guitar Gilad Barakan - guitar Jason Burger - drums ** Special guests Marta Sanchez - piano Miriam Elhajli - guitar & voice Juana Luna - guitar & voice Julia Easterlin - voice ELENI ARAPOGLOU is a singer, composer and choreographer. Though she began her studies in art history & archaeology of Africa Asia and the Middle East at SOAS, London, she graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor's im Drama and Dance. Her musical studies began at Berklee College of Music where she dove into music from around the world, specifically from Latin America, Spain, the Mediterranean, South Asia, all through a foundation of the influence of jazz and improvisation. Some recent highlights include Grammy nominated album Ona with Thana Alexa and Sony Music Mexico’s album Amor Pasado with Leonel Garcia. Eleni has performed and recorded with artists such as Shai Maestro, Leo Genovese, Emily Elbert, at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Park Avenue Armory, Aganis Arena, at the Latin Grammys with Alejandro Sanz and well as in festivals in Europe, South America and the US. Eleni teaches her practice BodySong at Bobby McFerrin's Circlesongs Program at Omega Institute and has been a Teaching Artist for Carnegie Hall's Lullaby Project since 2017, composing music with families across all boroughs of New York and with more than 20 partner sites internationally.
