After moving from Amsterdam to Brooklyn, New York, Marius has performed and recorded with Jeff 'Tain' Watts, Joel Frahm, Francisco Mela, Ingrid Jensen, Ara Dinkjian, Sean Jones, Haley Reinhart, the Birdland Big Band and the Tonkunstler Orchestra. As a leader and sideman, Marius has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival (Rotterdam), Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), GroundUP Festival (MIA), Smalls Jazz Club (NYC) Dizzy’s Club (NYC), Sony Music Hall (NYC), The Cretan World Music Festival (Greece), Mezzrow (NYC) Jazz Forum and the Bimhuis (Amsterdam).
