MELT‐BANANA, THE FLYING LUTTENBACHERS, TOMATO FLOWER, BABYBABY_EXPLORES Tomato Flower is the result of long-lasting friendships and overlapping collaborations that found Austyn Wohlers, Mike Alfieri, and Jamison Murphy (and later adding bassist Ruby Mars) looking for the balance between taut guitars and experimental pop music. babybaby_explores is the cited name of the providence art-rock project, “Baby; Baby: Explores the Reasons Why that Gum is Still on the Sidewalk”, created by three scrappy bffs Lids B-Day (effected Vox & sampler), Sam M-H (e. gtr.) The Flying Luttenbachers are an American instrumental unit led by multi-instrumentalist, composer, improviser and producer Weasel Walter. The Flying Luttenbachers have created a body of work focused on musical extremity and dissonance. Melt-Banana is a Japanese noise rock band that is known for playing extremely fast noise rock and hardcore punk mixed with experimental, electronica and pop-based song structures. Since forming in 1992 the band has released ten albums and toured worldwide extensively.
