Favourite Girl is the new project led by British songwriter Katy Vernon. Katy has been performing original melodic folk pop for over 25 years in the Twin Cities and in the UK. This new project builds upon her catchy songwriting and turns everything up to 11! This almost exclusively female powered rock band performs bold and exciting songs with a feminist and timeless approach. Taking on the old boys music club and having fun with it. Favourite Girl will have you dancing, singing, and leaving audiences feeling empowered to be their truest selves. "Get ready to dive into the raw, high energy of Minneapolis punk rock with The Silent Treatment. It’s Minneapolis rock and roll at its finest writing music that draws from the seedy underbelly of rock and roll from the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s. After playing numerous local venues and festivals, they are taking their recklessly fun live show regionally and nationally. Rock/pop band with songs shifting from moody darkness to 90s era indie rock via swirling guitars, engaging rhythms, intricate harmonies, and introspective lyrics.
