The new Lipp record blasts through lightyears of sounds and styles, connecting new school funk with vintage synth nostalgia. Blending loops and breaks with a pile of synths and drum machines the record pushes into new territory with advanced arrangements and cinematic textures. From long summer walks through NYC and early morning sessions in Paris cafes to stacks of Czech jazz from around the corner. This album is fueled by curiosity and audio experimentation as well a deep dive back into the influential sounds of Mo'Wax, Warp, and early Ninja Tune releases. This adventurous collection of beats feels both unmistakably Lipp and refreshingly evolved.
