Anna Garano — live event
Italian guitarist, Anna Garano, has studied contemporary music at the University of Trieste, Indian and Arabic music at the International Institute of Comparative Music of Venezia, and composition at the Rotterdam Conservatorium. She has studied flamenco guitar in Andalusia and over the years continued her studies under the guide of flamenco masters including Paco Serrano, Manolo Franco and Manolo Sanlucar. Anna has released an album of duets with Marc Ribot, Doug Wieselman, Flavio Davanzo and Anais Tekerian as well an album of her own compositions with poetry by Verlaine, Baudelaire and the Swiss poet Philippe Jaccottet Her playing and repertoire reflects her diverse background. Like a comet, Anna pays us a visit every few years.. don’t miss it.
