Pa Sheehy Pa Sheehy, hailing from the picturesque town of Dingle in County Kerry, has emerged as one of Ireland’s most heartfelt voices. Formerly the frontman of the critically acclaimed indie‑pop outfit Walking on Cars, Sheehy now embraces a deeply introspective solo path that blends folk, indie, and alternative textures Born and raised on the rugged Dingle Peninsula, Sheehy helped form Walking on Cars in the early 2010s. With hits such as “Speeding Cars” and “Catch Me If You Can”, the band topped the Irish charts and garnered a devoted following across Europe before disbanding in 2020 Post‑band, Sheehy unveiled his debut solo single “Saw You at a Funeral” in June 2021, followed by “Róisín” and the EP The Art of Disappearing, which entered the Irish Albums Chart at No. 9.
