ABRAM DEAN, ADAM JAMES, & JENNA LAMASTER — live event

Abram Dean: From a small town on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia, Abram Dean started writing songs at the age of twelve, having no idea songwriting could potentially be a career choice. At this point his passion for music started to rise above his passion for sports. At the age of 17, his talents led him to Los Angeles where within six months he was sitting in front of one of the music industry’s top publishers, Katie Vinten at Warner Chappell. Abram left the Warner Chappell building that day with a publishing contract in his email inbox. For the next four years, Abram fell in love with songwriting while working with some of the industry’s best and writing songs with some of the top artists in mind. He eventually landed his first cut with Andy Grammer on Andy’s Magazines or Novels album. In 2015 Abram took a week-long writing trip to Nashville, TN. Being back east instantly felt like home. He quickly fell in love with Nashville, so much so, three days into his trip the decision was made that he’d be moving to Nashville within the month. Since moving to Nashville, Abram has continued to garner attention with his strong sense of lyric and distinct melodies. His ability to write both pop & country music make him one of the most versatile writers in town. Adam James: Adam James was raised on a farm in central Illinois. As a child of 90s country radio, he always dreamed of making music in Music City. Now, Adam currently writes for Universal Music Publishing Group and his songs have been recorded by Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Cody Johnson and Little Big Town, just to name a few. He recently achieved his first #1 hit with Chesney’s “Knowing You”, which was also nominated for ACM Song of the Year. Jenna LaMaster: Country music makes people feel understood. That’s what made Northern California native, Jenna LaMaster, fall in love with it. The barrel-racing, western songbird moved from the mountains of CA to TX where she competed on the professional rodeo circuit before moving to Nashville, TN to pursue her dream of country music. She arrived with just her grandpa’s Martin guitar, some songs she learned playing for cowboy church, and a job riding cuttng horses, but she quickly signed her first publishing deal with Sheltered Music in 2020. While working on her own project, Jenna found time to write songs for other artists and penned her first two major label cuts on Big Loud Record’s recording artist, Ashland Craft with songs, “Your Momma Still Does,” and “Leavin’ You Again.” She has since penned Craft’s latest single, “Danced With The Devil,” along with Kasey Tyndall’s single featuring Dylan Marlowe, “Place For Me,” and Faren Rachel’s single, “Bad Whiskey.” Jenna continues to write and record music in Nashville. Her first single, “Drunk Thoughts” was released on October 20th.
