Lineup: Sophia Kickhofel - saxophone Esteban Castro - piano Jayla Chee - bass Eliza Salem - drums Sophia Kickhofel is a 20 year old multi-instrumentalist and composer from Apple Valley, Minnesota. She has performed around the world at venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, Carnegie Hall, the Library of Congress, and many more. Sophia currently studies jazz performance at the Juilliard School under the direction of saxophonists Dan Block and Bruce Williams as well as pianist Marc Cary. Sophia strives to create music that evokes empathy and a sense of community within the audience.
