For four decades, the GRAMMY®-nominated pianist, composer, and arranger David Benoit has reigned supreme as one of the founding fathers of Contemporary Jazz. Rooted in the tradition of Dave Brubeck and Bill Evans, his music is engaging, soulful, and sophisticated. David’s career as a contemporary jazz pianist began in 1977 and includes 41 solo recordings, many considered influential classics in the genre. Grammy nominations include Best Instrumental Composition and Best Large Jazz Ensemble Performance.
