The Wilson Springs Hotel w/ Widely Grown — live event
The Wilson Springs Hotel is a high-powered country and bluegrass outfit based out of Richmond, Virginia. The band combines tones of traditional country and western swing, bluegrass, folk, and rock to create a unique sound that is simply their own. The band travels as a five-piece unit; coming from a diverse background of musical influences, they bring new and exciting stylings to the classic sounds of American Country and Bluegrass. They released their debut self-titled album in the Fall of 2021 and have since followed it up with performances at the Charleston Bluegrass Festival, Rooster Walk, Watermelon Picker’s Fest, as well as being named an “On the Rise” artist at Floydfest in the Summer of 2022. On pace for 150 individual performances this calendar year, the band has hit few boundaries playing for fans of many different genres. They will be releasing their sophomore album in April of 2023 ahead of a busy season of touring, to be followed by a bluegrass project to be released in the Fall of 2023. Widely Grown is an Americana/Jam-Country band from Jersey City, New Jersey. In the summer of 2022, Widely Grown released their debut album and toured 9 states to follow. The Widely Grown boys are known for their energetic live performances that contain their unique blend of rock, country, grass and soul. As Climbing Magazine put it, they are "a rowdy Americana band." 2023 saw them travelin’ again, while stopping in Franklin KY to record their next batch of tunes. Their DIY ethic and independent spirit has been a key fundamental to their growing success.
