Dennis Haggerty - Lead Vocals, Guitar Dennis has been singing since childhood, both of his grandfathers and his father were singers with the Bayside Glee Club in Queens. In high school Dennis was in a cover band performing some of the same 90s alternative rock hits that he’s thrilled to be returning to in Emerald City Underground. Connor Shann - Bass, Backing Vocals Connor took his first bass lesson at 12 years old. Within a few months, his teacher asked him to be a member of his live band and Connor has played professionally ever since! In high school, Connor studied classical guitar, extended range/fretless electric bass, and upright bass while playing regularly with cover bands, jazz groups, and orchestras. In college, Connor devoted his time to a Bachelor's in Classical Upright Bass Performance. Now, he spends his time recording, composing, and jamming live with Emerald City Underground. Jeffrey Bateria - Drums, Backing Vocals Jeffrey "Bateria” Ortiz is a versatile Drummer and Percussionist. An avid music aficionado, well versed in music composition and production. Some of his exploits include touring, recording and live TV/Radio appearances. These days his main focus is to bring the very best of 90’s-00’s era Rock and Grunge Drumming and entertainment. Jens Look - Lead Guitar Born and raised in Germany, Jens started playing guitar at the age of 16. He joined his first band shorty afterwards, and over the next few years played in a variety of bands, including jazz, big band and covers. While living in Germany Jens worked as a photographer for a music magazine, as well as studied audio engineering. He worked as an audio engineer and tour manager for Rockport Records, including European tours of Peter Hammill and Kevin Coyne. With his main coverband in Germany Jens played about 150 gigs with up to 5000 visitors. Jens now resides in NYC where he owns a photo studio.
