He's also worked with Paquito Rivera, Jon Faddis, John Patton, Hamiet Bluiett, Henry Threadgill, and Paula West. Cherry has recorded a number of albums as a leader, his most recent “Soul Tree” and “It’s All Good” for Posi-tone Records.
