Memorial Show & Life Celebration for Bobby B — live event
Memorial show and life celebration of South Jersey native, Bobby B, who passed away suddenly on January 11th, 2024. Bobby (AKA DustyB) was an unmistakable meme lord and pillar of the national DJ community as well as local punk and metal scenes. With this in mind, Bobby’s formerly defunct project, Hollowpointz, has agreed to reunite for one final performance of rap-infused hardcore/punk in his honor. They will be joined alongside their sister act, the local metalcore legion known as Iwo Jima. Both bands feature members who now perform actively in Philly heavy hitters such as Caged, Heavy Temple, and Static Brothers to name a few. Rounding out the reunion line-up will be the most pissed-off hardcore band in the history of Southern New Jersey, Cut It Out! (ex- Tuff Turf, Road Pig, etc.) banding together for the first since 2016 to serve up their abrasive brand of no frills punk. DJ Samwas will be spinning tunes for all the EDM and dancehall heads to ensure to the full spectrum of Bobby’s eclectic tastes are represented. We hope to see all of Bobby’s family and friends in attendance, though the event is open to the public, as we trade stories, songs, and celebrate the life of a true idea man, fighter for principal, and pivotal member of our Southern New Jersey community.
