SOHO JAZZ FESTIVAL 2025 PRESENTS: Bea Asurmendi at Alfie's Soho Bea Asurmendi, Basque-born and London-based jazz vocalist and composer, brings her rich fusion of contemporary jazz and Iberian folk to Alfie’s Soho on Wednesday 10 September. A Guildhall School alumna, Bea’s deeply emotive sound—singing in Basque, Spanish, and English—has graced stages such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club, and 606 Club, and she opened for Ari Hoenig at Milton Court Concert Hall as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.  Her concerts are imbued with themes of grief, self-love, women’s empowerment, and mental-health, all delivered through haunting melodies, powerful lyrics, and immersive storytelling.
