Zach Thompson Born and raised in West Yorkshire, Zach Thompson is a folk singer firmly rooted in the time-honoured bardic and balladeer traditions of both the British and Irish isles. Having long cut his teeth in the dusty venues of South-East London, his work synthesises an almost endless range of literary and musical influences, from English Modernism and the poetry of the French symbolists to the broadsides of Appalachian folk and the Beat Generation. At the heart though is Thompson's singular and powerful voice, which after years of residencies and local sets has been finally captured to tape. His debut EP, Algebra Parable, is set to arrive on the 12th June, with first single 'Be As It May' being released on the 10th April.
