Jason Moran & The Bandwagon — live event
Pianist and composer Jason Moran has been a fixture on the music scene in New York since the late 90s. His music has included jazzy takes on everything from the ring shouts of enslaved Black Americans to Thelonious Monk’s music to hip hop. He’s collaborated with the great sax player Charles Lloyd and written chamber music. But his most consistent project has been his trio, The Bandwagon, which first recorded together almost 20 years ago.
