Influenced by artists from Joni Mitchell to Kimya Dawson, Olive’s unfiltered vulnerability is at the forefront of every song. Whether they’re discussing the complexities of the country’s politics or of grieving a relationship, their music conveys this sense of very outwardly figuring things out, which is what gives their music such a sense of communion. They're letting you in on the fact that they're going through it too, and they don't shy away from discussing the awkwardness.
