On October 15, 2006, Vanilla Fudge were inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame by Felix Cavaliere for their contribution to music history. Other inductees were Billy Joel, Joan Jett, and Twisted Sister to name a few. They recorded a tribute to their old friends Led Zeppelin by creating their own interpretations of their music on their CD, “Out Through the In Door.” They performed on Late Night TV Show with Jimmy Fallon NBC TV. The band just returned from The Moody Blues Cruise out of Miami, Florida with sixteen other bands, Vanilla Fudge will be celebrating their 50th year Anniversary in 2017 and is still rocking the world in 2019 with concerts in the USA and European tours performing at festivals, theaters, and TV appearances on The Jimmy Fallon TV Show. With the new CD on Cleopatra Records “Sprit of 67”. The band completed a successful run of shows with The Yardbirds and was a huge hit on the “Flower Power Cruise” and “Legends of Rock Cruise” last year and we just performed “On The Blue Cruise” in February 2019. We are already booked on the “Flower Power Cruise” 2020. They Headlined the HIPPIE FEST TOUR in 2018 with Badfinger, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and Rick Derringer. The band toured with “The Legends of Rock Tour” starting in August 2019. Vanilla Fudge are ready to Rock the world in 2024. Guest opener: GROOVIN’ A TRIBUTE TO THE YOUNG RASCALS With blessings and support from Eddie Brigati, the Rockit Live Foundation launched the Eddie Brigati Honors Scholarship. This honors program was created to acknowledge Rockit Academy students who go above and beyond to fulfill the mission of the organization. Eddie Brigati is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, founding member of The Young Rascals, and sits on the Rockit Live Foundation Artist Advisory board, personally mentoring and consistently championing Rockit Academy musicians. This “Groovin’" band will pay tribute to Eddie and one of the greatest bands of all time, The Young Rascals! The Rockit Live Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, reaching out to help develop, nurture and inspire young music performers to reach their full artistic potential, while emphasizing the importance of community charity efforts, through live music education offered at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey.
