ROMES - Raw Overdriven Mind Expansion Systems - is an electronic rock duo of brothers from Toronto, Canada. The pair meld analog chaos with digital precision creating a singular, high-voltage sound drawing influence from 90s grunge and electro to industrial and dance-punk. The duo’s debut album SONIC TRASH (releasing independently on November 14 2025) is abrasive yet polished, electronic yet deeply human. It combines elements of DIY experimentation and distorted synths with hard-hitting rhythms and the punk energy and ethos reminiscent of the bloghouse era. Siblings Jacob (lead vocals, guitar, synths) and Nicolas (drums) have spend years honing their chops and take full artistic control over everything they do, from their music production, mixing, mastering, and artwork, to merch design and video direction.
