***The Art of Cover Art***, a newsletter exploring the art history of album art, presents an in-person panel discussion with visual artists Dannah Gottlieb (Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone) and Lawrence Azerrad (Wilco, Red Hot Chili Peppers). The evening, supported by Tuneshine, will explore how research plays an integral role in creating some of music's most iconic album artworks. We'll dive into the stories behind some of Dannah and Lawrence's projects, like Sabrina Carpenter's *Short n' Sweet* and Wilco's *Ode to Joy*, and how exploration affects each artist's creative process Moderated by Rachel Cabitt, the writer of *The Art of Cover Art* and co-founder of POND Creative, a visual studio for the music industry.
