MOPOMOSO: International Free Improvised Music (EFG London Jazz Festival) — live event on Nov 15, 2026
Mopomoso live at Vortex Jazz Club, London on Sun, Nov 15, 6:30 PM. Free entry. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
Mopomoso brings their pioneering approach to free improvisation to the Vortex Jazz Club for this EFG London Jazz Festival performance. Founded by guitarist John Russell and pianist Chris Burn in 1991, the ensemble has spent over three decades exploring spontaneous, unrehearsed music that dissolves boundaries between jazz, avant-garde, and contemporary classical traditions. Expect fluid, boundary-pushing soundscapes built in real time by musicians committed to the art of collective listening and invention. This is an evening of pure musical discovery where structure emerges from the moment itself.
