Michigan-born, multi-instrumentalist **Kenny Stahl** opens this lush and atmospheric night of music. Presented by The Current. The follow-up to her critically-acclaimed 2022 release *Weather Alive*, the new release finds the ‘90s “comedown queen” taking on an urgent and emotionally fearless tone. Considered by many as her best album yet, The Ground Above elegantly shores up Beth Orton’s creative resurgence, altogether representing a more mature form of comedown – one that comes with midlife epiphanies and a strong sense of resilience.
