Stephane Wrembel's exceptional ensemble features a world-class lineup, with Josh Kaye on guitar, Ari Folman-Cohen on bass, Nick Driscoll on tenor sax, and Nick Anderson on drums. They will be joined by special guest Jean-Michel Pilc on piano for an unforgettable performance. This event marks the celebration of Wrembel's collaboration with Pilc, titled Triptych, which was recorded over the past few years. This three-CD package includes several new compositions by Wrembel. Wrembel, widely recognized as one of the preeminent guitarists in the world, specializes in the style of the legendary composer and guitarist, Django Reinhardt. Throughout his illustrious career, he has toured the globe and released 17 albums under his own name and the nom de plume The Django Experiment. His most recent release, "Django New Orleans," debuted in May 2023. Notably, his original compositions have been featured in the films "Midnight in Paris," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," and "Rifkin’s Festival," with "Midnight in Paris" earning a Grammy Award® for "Best Compilation Soundtrack," featuring the Wrembel’s composition "Bistro Fada." Wrembel has also shared the stage with an array of iconic artists, including Elvis Costello, Patti Smith, The Roots, Medeski Martin & Wood, Me’shell Ndegeocello, John Scofield, Larry Keel, Stochelo Rosenberg, Sam Bush, and more. His annual music festival, "Django A Gogo," has gained global recognition as a premier event celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt.
