Joseph James (Vulpis) the founding member of Joseph James (Band) is no stranger to the music business. Raised in Oceanside and Syosset, NY, James has never looked back as a musician, performing in many of the LI and NYC clubs. Upon finishing Berklee, James went on the road, produced, performed with artists from Blackmore, Gaga, Bono, Bocelli and many more. It was always a dream to do what he’s currently doing as an artist. With the first 2 singles already breaking on major market radio he is determined to see this through as in his own words “JJ 5.5 is the best record I’ve ever made hands down.” On guitars and vocals, is James’s long time friend and collaborator Jim Gately. Also a producer, session player and Berklee Alum with a huge bio to boot. Keeping the beat solid and grooving are Jim’s two kids Eli and Abi Gately on Drums and Bass. Supercharged musicians as they demonstrate on every show. On guitars and vocals balancing out the stage is also Berklee Alum Ernie Chaplin Fortunato. James met Ernie when he was building his upstate studio and musically it was a perfect fit. We’re friends and we enjoy our time together making and performing great music. It’s a dream that’s coming true.
