WU LYF, short for World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation, was an English band known for their unique blend of indie rock, post-rock, and experimental sounds. Formed in Manchester in 2008, their music is characterized by atmospheric instrumentation, driving rhythms, and frontman Ellery Roberts' distinctively raspy vocals. Influenced by a mix of post-punk and alternative rock, their debut album, "Go Tell Fire to the Mountain," garnered attention for its raw energy and enigmatic presentation. The band's emphasis on DIY ethics and mystique set them apart in the indie music scene before their disbandment in 2012.
