Tripping Daisy was an American alternative rock band known for their eclectic sound that blended elements of psychedelic rock and power pop. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1990, the band drew notable influences from artists like The Flaming Lips and The Beatles, which helped shape their vibrant and experimental musical approach. Their sound was defined by catchy melodies, layered guitar work, and the distinctive vocals of frontman Tim DeLaughter. Tripping Daisy gained a following in the 1990s with albums like "I Am an Elastic Firecracker," which featured their hit single "I Got a Girl."
