Trace Mountains is an indie rock project led by Dave Benton, known for its introspective lyrics and melodic soundscapes. The music blends elements of folk-rock and lo-fi pop, drawing influences from artists like Neil Young and The Microphones. Benton's songwriting often explores themes of nature and personal reflection, characterized by warm guitar tones and subtle electronic textures. This creates a sound that is both intimate and expansive, capturing a sense of contemplative wanderlust.
