The Vaudevillian is a Canadian band known for their authentic revival of early 20th-century jug band and ragtime music. Their sound is characterized by lively guitar, washboard rhythms, and kazoo melodies, capturing the essence of pre-war blues and jazz. Influenced by artists like Bessie Smith and Blind Blake, The Vaudevillian brings a raw and energetic interpretation of vintage Americana, often performing with period-appropriate instruments and attire to enhance their nostalgic appeal.
